TLDR : Answer Summary
Several recommendations for health insurance companies for Australians on a Long-Term Resident (LTR) visa in Thailand have emerged from the community. PAHUGARN is mentioned as a resource for health insurance. Mutchimavadee Charoonmethinan, a certified insurance planner, can provide tailored plans. An independent financial adviser also offers access to various international insurers. It's advised to avoid Regency due to high costs and poor service experiences. Other suggestions include WRLife for quotes and AXA for basic plans tailored for LTR visa holders. Community members warned about the general quality of many insurance options and emphasized the need to research thoroughly.

Have a look at .... Jonny There Is Something Happening ... YouTube channel. His latest video about health insurance and the company's policy he is talking about is good.
Does the Hospitals accept medical insurance wih world coverage from EUROPE or do you have to pay and make a declaration of the costs in your home country?
Just never use Regency, very expensive, thet make out that they will help you when u need with no tassels, total bullsh%$ lie, during critical care they will call, send emails demanding info which is sometime impossible to provide, then deny any coverage, if I went by their recommendations, I would probably be dead right now... avoid them
