ORIGINAL POSTER
I (German) just went to Immigration for another extend TM.7 (I did already for 30 days)

All they could give me is 7 days more, then I have to leave the country.

Only chance is to bring a special paper from your embassy that shows that you can't go back to your country.

I am engaged and don' t want to go to Germany right now.

Any advice?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A German expat in Thailand is seeking advice after only receiving a 7-day extension on their TM.7 visa, citing a desire to avoid returning to Germany amid travel restrictions. Community members suggest exploring flight options, visa runs, and express frustration over the limited options due to the German Consulate's current policy.

you are stuck, At this time the German Consulate here is NOT writing the "unable to travel due to covid-19" embassy request letter.

Not to be mean spirited BUT

You had to have seen this coming for the last week and should have bounced out and back BEFORE now to try to get a new 30 day stamp.

Right now you got 7 days to figure something out, to leave OR to start racking up overstay.

Try to find an open border for a visa run? Not up to date on border closures or the new visa requirements for the normal options. Sorry.
