TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is inquiring about the necessity of renewing their work permit, which expires on June 20, if they plan to transfer to a new company by mid-July, while their Non B visa remains valid until November 30.

And the question then is: What do you call an Non Immigrant B visa?

Normally for employees only the Single Entry Non Immigrant B is issued and that is valid for 90 days to be used. When the visa is valid until Nov 2020 it must be another visa or an Extension of Stay based on employment.

Doesn't the Non B expire with the work permit?

No. A Non-B visa is valid for only 90 days, and a work permit generally is valid for a year.

By law you can not work without a valid work permit, so if you will work between June 20th to the 2nd week of July, you must get a new work permit.
