I folks, received this in an email today. Can anyone tell me if this is genuine or is this in fact fake or spam mail. We are awaiting a Thai Pass. It is a bit concerning.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community strongly believes that the email in question is a scam. Multiple users have identified it as phishing aimed at gaining access to personal information or infecting devices with malware. They recommend not opening any links or attachments from the email and checking official sources for updates on the Thai Pass approval.

Scam, don't open it

They are asking you to open it on a PC because the malware or virus is designed to infect a Windows machine. If it was a legitimate document such as PDF or DOC there is no reason why you can't open it on a mobile device.
Just wondering Gary, some people asked you for the sender's email address but I don't see where you posted it, doesn't helping people work both ways?
Forgive me if I'm wrong and you did do so.

I scanned the QR code that appeared on email. Was nothing to do with me .I had been to Thailand and returned to home country already .The sending email address is different to original but quite similar.

It’s a scam there was a post about it saying the website had been hacked.
Have you checked on the true website to see how your approval is going
