Hi guys,

Has anyone had the covid test at Bangkok hospital in Pattaya? If so it it sufficient to use as evidence to fly? I need a certificate that has my passport number and type of test carried out like we need to enter Thailand. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community discusses the COVID-19 testing process at Bangkok Hospital in Pattaya, highlighting that travelers can obtain a PCR test with a certificate that includes their passport number. Users report the test results are received within 24 hours, with some noting the cost is around 3,800 to 6,500 baht. Additionally, it is mentioned that a separate Fit to Fly certificate is required for entry into Thailand, alongside the PCR test result.

For entry into Thailand you need to have a seperate FTF certificate also? The PCR test alone is not enough. Your passport details will be written on this one.

Just confirming the above was at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital.

Did it last week price is 3800 baht. They know all the requirements, ask what plane, where you are going and they ensure they meet the 72 hours requirement. Seen by a doctor, and you pick up two copies of a fit to fly certificate that details the type and -ve Covid result and lack of any other symptoms. You pick up the certificate less than 24 hours after the test.

Pattaya International Hospital has promotion on PCR test. You get results next day from their laboratory and you get a certificate to show airlines and immigration. Price is expensive 6.500. The hospitals squeeze the remaining tourist/expats for their last dime. LOL. They too have reduced number of customers.

price isn’t an issue as my company is paying 😁 I’ll keep this in mind though, cheers!

I used them in September for the PCR test I needed to get back to work in Africa.

Will be using them again next week for the same thing.

Take your passport with you and they will put the number on the result/certificate.

Picked up the certificate the following morning after the test.
