Has anyone successfully received an Ed Visa in Hanoi recently?

Rumor has it that they wont allow you to apply for the Ed visa in Hanoi anymore.

Answer summary

There are conflicting reports regarding the application of Ed Visas in Hanoi. Some users have successfully obtained the visa recently, suggesting that the application process is still active, though it may be strict. Another user mentioned that applying in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) might be a better choice.

I just spoke with a student at my school who said she got her Ed Visa in Hanoi last week. So I think the rumors are unfounded. However she did get interviewed. So I think Hanoi is strict.
