Currently got 520k in the account, still a little more than a week before I apply. Is it ok to put 1000 usd into my account now, for spending since I don’t want the money to go any less than the current amount.

Or safer to go for less amount like 500 usd? Can transfer from my own account, but not the same one as I’m showing in the statement. Thanks
Answer summary
The user is considering whether to deposit an additional amount into their bank account before applying for a visa, seeking advice on how much to add without risking falling below the required balance in their statement.

Not sure what you're worried about. You can always put more money into your account. You should not let the balance fall below the required amount.
