Does anyone know if it is possible to change a student visa for a working permit inside Thailand?

I know in normal situations people have to travel out and in to do such a change but I was just wondering how people are doing these days with all the travel restrictions. Thanks

I highly doubt you can avoid leaving, applying through a Thai consulate overseas, then returning and jumping through all the hoops. I'd be very sceptical of any advice to the contrary

A visa is a visa and a work permit is a work permit.. I think you mean. That you want to change to a 'B' visa.

you meed to change to a non b visa first - depends the immi bureau - the supporting documents - etc - basically its possible -

According to the regulations it’s possible but it’s up to the discretion of the immigration bureau. Depends if your request meets the conditions set for such a visa change or not.
