TLDR : Answer Summary
The process of obtaining a volunteering visa for teaching in Thailand involves securing a Non-Immigrant Type O visa. The organization (such as a center for kids) you plan to volunteer with must provide documentation to support your visa application. Additionally, holding a valid work permit is necessary. It's important to check the specific requirements of the Thai consulate where you will apply for the visa.

The organization would provide documentation for you to take to a thai consulate and get a 90 day Non-Immigrant Type O visa based on volunteering, and you would also need to hold a valid work permit.

Check the website of the thai consulate you would be applying for the visa at for their requirements.

They would need the paperwork from the place here in thailand to apply.

they should check the consulate's website they would be applying for the visa at. Each one wants different requirements. Some are quite stringent some aren't. It's tough to say without knowing where they'd apply for the visa.

Visa it's not for myself, friend was approached by teacher from Europe to ask if it's possible. What would you advise let them visit first on tourist visa, or get the paperwork done at home country
