TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the reliability of Dee Money for transferring funds to the UK. While some users had good experiences in the past, recent reports indicate significant issues such as prolonged delays, cancelled transfers, and difficulties in obtaining refunds. Recommendations lean towards using traditional banking methods for safety and reliability.

Avoid them. Look TripAdvisor and they Facebook page. Pay bank fee don't risk loosing your money. Know people 2 months still transfer not done

Used Dee Money for the last couple of years but I wouldn't advise it now. Long delays and then they say can't do the transfer and then you wait another 2-3 weeks for refund

Well, normaly you not need many times send (back?) money from Thailand to y'r home country. If it's only 'an incident', I would use y'r bank app or go to y'r Thai bank. Yes, it costs a bit more (not THAT much), but it's safe and fast. Good luck !

Many years of very good reports. But within the last month or two, people have stated things have drastically changed. Transfers held up for weeks or months, and then at the end the transfer is cancelled and they have to file a claim with Deemoney to get the money transferred back into their accounts.
