TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry centers around the adequacy of a 500,000 baht inheritance for the DTV Soft Power visa application in Thailand. Responses indicate that while some embassies require documentation proving current financial status, such as bank statements showing at least 500,000 baht, others may have more lenient requirements and not ask for extensive financial details. Individual experiences vary depending on the specific embassy, with some applicants successfully using inheritance documentation without additional inquiry.

Depends on the embassy you are applying from, many do not but Taipei asks for employment documentation for soft power applicants.

I got soft power at London embassy and transferred the required money into my account about 10 minutes before I submitted the application. They didn’t ask any further questions about my finances. I’ve heard some embassies are requesting 3 months of bank statements showing 500k+ though so ymmv.
