Some confusion regarding highlighting bank statements. Do you provide the bank statements ONCE in the proof of financial status, with income payments already highlighted, or do you provide the bank statements "clean" and then re-upload them in the proof of income pdf with the highlights?
Asking cause my bank statements are over 23 pages long... and that's without the invoices.
Answer summary
When applying for a visa, there is some confusion about how to present bank statements as proof of financial status. Some suggest highlighting relevant transactions in the bank statements, while others recommend submitting a clean version and then re-uploading highlighted sections in a separate PDF. It's advised to be thorough and include all relevant information in one or two PDFs along with a cover letter to clarify their contents.

I submitted the same set of business bank statements with 2 different sets of highlights. One for the business section highlighting only my client payments/deposits. And then again for my financial package with my income drawdowns only highlighted on that same set of statements. As long as you can compress the files, then put it all in.
My business package was about 70 pages and the financial one was about 45 pages.
If you can put everything you think they would possibly want into one or two PDFs, and upload with cover letters explaining each page, you'll save yourself some time. There's lists on this page confirming what they'll ask for, get ahead of the game.
