TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement for how long funds need to be seasoned in a bank account for a visa application to Canada can vary. In this conversation, one user mentioned only needing to provide a one-month statement during their application, while another indicated that a six-month statement is typically required, but only the latest statement needs to show the required amount. It's advisable to check directly with the consulate for the most accurate information.

You just need 6 months statement but it doesnt need to be 500,000 all 6 months only the latest one 😊

When we applied in July 24, we only had to provide 1 month statement. The Vancouver consulate is very responsive so you can email them to ask if you are based Manitoba west.
