How long are London taking to process and approve Destination Thailand Visas?

I applied for the DTV at the London Embassy 10 days ago. The application status is still on "Pending Document Check".

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The processing time for Destination Thailand Visas at the London Embassy is typically around 15 business days, with some applicants experiencing longer waits, especially during high season. Since the user has only waited 10 days and factoring in holidays, it may still be too early to expect approval.

Mine is currently 15 days in the system. I think the worry is because London seemed to have a number of posters saying it processed applications quickly.

it was on document check for about eight or nine days and then moved to “Processing pending approval (1)”. It’s been at that stage for about a week. I assume that means they are happy with the documentation and, well, doing whatever they need to! It is the Retirement O non-immigration visa, the 90 day one that lets you start the year extension upon arrival.

10 days is nowhere near a long time.

You can only count "business days"

The 9th was a holiday.

It's high season and they are receiving a high volume of applications.

The websites of most embassies state 15 business days is the normal processing time for a visa application.
