Having to go to Vientiane to get my non b visa this next week. I see it takes about 3 days to get… I’m wondering if anyone has any experience on if I’ll get the visa that third day in the morning/noon? I’m need to book my flight back and I’m wondering if a 2 o’clock flight will be late enough or could I still be waiting for my visa by then?

Vientiane takes 48 hours to get your passport back, don't forget to take an appointment as walkins are not allowed.

Firstly you need an appointment. Then there is 2 days processing time excluding the day you apply. So you get your passport back in the afternoon of the 2nd processing day. I suspect there's no way your going to catch a 2pm flight. Best you can hope for is getting your passport back at 1pm and it may be a bit later

Dont know for Vietnam but in Penanag Malesiya is next day , in morning you give all papers and passport ,next day from 14 to 16 pm pick up. Do it last week

also note it's business days, so if you apply on a Thursday or Friday, you're not getting your passport back until after the weekend.
