I have a retirement/ extension of stay visa ends 21st March. If I arrive 27th March how long can I stay? Do I need to enter on visa waiver as I intend to stay 2 months?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If your retirement visa extension expires on March 21 and you arrive on March 27, you will not be able to use that extension. You may enter Thailand under Visa Exempt Entry, which typically allows for a 30-day stay, depending on your nationality. If you plan to stay for two months, you might need to consider adjusting your arrival plans or looking into other visa options.

OK, if you have a re-entry permit you will be stamped in the country till 31 March. If arrival is 27th you have 4 days to prepare the new application of Extension of Stay.
