TLDR : Answer Summary
Immigrating to Thailand from Pakistan without knowing the Thai language can be manageable, especially in urban areas where basic English is spoken. While language can pose some challenges, tools like Google Translate can be helpful. Some expats report that they lived in Thailand for years without needing to speak Thai, mainly in areas like Bangkok where English is more common. However, learning basic Thai phrases can greatly improve communication and is appreciated by locals. Visa challenges remain a primary concern, but many expats have found their way around language barriers successfully.

The bigger your bank account the less Thai you need to speak, just don’t post reviews on tripadvisor while you are in the country

Strange timing for a question like this. It's like on the overlander forums, there was this one Indian guy in Vietnam asking the requirements to ride his motorcycle to India via Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar.
I mean, it could be years before the borders re-open and there is even a chance they will never re-open.
It's great to be a dreamer but at this stage it's better to be realistic. The world has changed and what we were used to doing until March may never be possible again.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but we may have to resign ourselves to this fact.

Every country is different, Japan for example generally has a low level of English, where as Germany generally has a high level of English.

Foreigners can only own condominium units, not apartments. And you are not allowed to register a company using the address of the condo as it is not a commercial property.
, in the West, they are separately defined as strata-titled or non-strata titled. Apartment in Thailand is non-strata titled, meaning the whole building plus the land is placed into a single title deed. Thus you can only rent an apartment unit, or buy the whole building and land.

Most Thais english is pretty good, I’ve never had issues. Try and learn the basics out of politeness.
For now the borders are closed so don’t expect anything soon.
most Thais' English is pretty good eh... So I take it you've never been to Isaan. Or any place that doesn't have tourists. Which is about 80% of the population.
It's easier to find a competent English speaker in the Thai countryside than rural Myanmar, despite the latter having been an English colony.
There is much more English writing on road signs and bill boards in Thailand than in Myanmar or Vietnam.
That stated, English proficiency in Thailand isn't great; but I find that there are always people who want to speak English with me even though I'd prefer to use Thai.

There's no immigration process for Thailand as such.

Very easy, you can go to a language school and I know a good one
start from $39,000 all expenses inclusive. You can own 100% and can sell anytime. Hire a lawyer when buying. This is time to buy the price I mentioned above is 40% down the real value 2 years ago. This is time to position yourself cause prime locations hard to get when business good now you can choose the location where you want to be.
that’s the whole of thailand, I’m talking about the south of Thailand, krabi is about 40%, phucket 20%, Satun is 80% Muslim. My husband is Muslim so maybe I notice it more.
I'd say most people don't speak basic English, not even in Bangkok.
It's very good to know some basic Thai phrases. Thais usually appreciate that and then it's easier to find a way to communicate. Google Translator helps, as said before.

I wouldn't say that. Plenty of Bangkokians speak at least basic English and anyone foreign looking will probably be spoken to in English.

It is hard to buy food without knowing the language.
Some but I do not need to use them in everyday life. At work if I do say sysomething occasionally it worries the Thais lol. Seriously though in central Bangkok where I live and work no need for Thai. At work we are a global company and the language used is English if communication in office or across borders
Most people speak basic English. I've never run into a situation that Google translate couldn't get me out of. Visas will be the most difficult hurdle.
