I want to apply for a Non O Visa and need to proof 800k in funds in a bank account. My savings are in Stablecoins. Did anyone had the same problem and what was the solution for it? Thanks in advance for any suggestion.
Answer summary
To apply for a Non-O Visa in Thailand, you must prove that you have 800,000 THB in a bank account. Many users suggested that the only solution is to liquidate your stablecoins and deposit the cash into a traditional bank account to meet this requirement. Concerns about using online banks like Revolut were raised, emphasizing the importance of cash and traditional banking for visa applications in Thailand. Additionally, smaller transactions may help ease the process of converting stablecoins without flags from banks.

Simple solution. Cash in your stable coins (or some of them) and place the required money in a traditional bank account then apply for the visa

If you are worried about your Revolut account being frozen for cashing in Stablecoins, just cash them in to some other account and then use Revolut or Wise to transfer that money to Thailand

Unfortunately not that simple for me, have a EU Revolut account but don't want to risk it getting frozen. Otherwise i agree, it would be a simple task to just send my Stables somewhere.

There's no choice; the bank must prove the origin of the funds.

allow me to simplify and translate the cryptobro slang for you mate, the guy doesn't do high volume transactions on either the cryoto exchange he keeps his coins, nor his revolut bank, therefore a mere transaction of 21k euros will flag instantly first on the exchange. The reason he's so affraid is both exchange and revolut are online entities, revolut (you might know ths already) it's an online bank and he'll scream at customer service for weeks probl to get his money out. Same with the exchange, even worse, could never get acces to it again. Why OP doesn't have a normal bank and only an online bank such as revolut? Who knows, his business. The exchange induced anxiety of withdrawing your own money? Self inflicted. Welcome to the freedom of crypto , it literally only benefits you to buy sht off of dark web or be paid for illegal sht🤣🤣
