⭐In gratitude for good tips in this fb group, my report back to this DTV community. For the sincere and contributors: get it right.
⭐Submtted on Tuesday 23 December early evening, Issued on Sunday 28 December. Email with the good news arrived Monday 29 December early evening (144 hours total).
⭐PDF packages
- SoftPower: Wrote a short intro expressing gratitude for the opportunity to train in Muay Thai and that the DTV is available for that Soft Power, also included the long term rent of a private house in the same town so that the Consular Officer understands this is all real. Number-listed which proofs are included in the PDF file. Added the course payment proof from my online credit card bank and receipt from my Muay Thai school, admittance to the 6 months training package, passport of owner and registration of business. In abundance and unpetitioned also show-cased my residence all the way: house lease contract, payment of deposit and rent from regular bank transfer, ID of house owner, house title deed and house tax payment book (these documents are as is required for residential proof with 30 day extension of 60-day Arrival stamp).
- Finance: wrote intro clarifying my financial position. Downloaded bank's overview of my Current account of last 3 months, all mutations and Savings account mutations of last 6 months. Highlighted monthly balance and monthly income. Added Google translate into Thai (it worked, but best to get your bank to give the statements in English [as is requested by the visa website], as many have preferred user language option, I guess) and added next to the balance amounts the Thai baht value.
- Location: Flight Bangkok-Hanoi payment receipt, boarding pass, Airbnb booking and payment proof and TimemarkApp picture of myself in Hanoi in front of a government building and a clear streetname sign.
- Adobe: got a free 7 day trial of Adobe by subscibing for a month and cancelling it again. Adobe is by the way amazingly easy to use and effective. First created PDFs of everything. Merged those into 3 main files of max 3MB each (SoftPower {compressed}, Finance and Location) which were uploaded in the application online.
⭐Hanoi is a great city. It's the origin of Vietnam, administrative center and a place of ancient high culture. With Capital efficiency at the Royal Thai Embassy, classic French architecture/old town lay-out and an open/ modern mindset... Hanoi was a good choice.
⭐To return to the Golden Land, I will print DTV and TDAC for boarding and to be complient to requests of Immigration and respectful to the SuvarnaBhumi Immigration Officer. Hey, I even ATMed 20k baht as the cherry on my Love&Peace cake of this successful DTV mission in Vietnam. It feels just Great to have that 5 year Destination Thailand Visa.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
