DTV visa approved today in Hanoi! (Muay Thai soft power)

I am South Korean national. It took literally 3 business days :)

(I just got the good luck thanks to my friend's prayers)

I have been worried cause so many people got rejected DTV in Hanoi recently. I believe Hanoi doesn't reject everyone.

-Applied at 9:00 am on April 7th

-Requested additional documents : Gym owner's work permit page with valid date (I haven't checked the date, I just submitted what the gym gave to me, so please double check the valid date), I updated within an hour on April 8th

-Visa approved on April 9th, today around 6PM

My tips to share with you guys : make it simple and clear to make them understand easily!

1) Financial evidence :

-4 months bank balance statement ( krw & THB both used for currency in the statement), 5 months transaction

-I added on more account transaction ( my monthly salary I made in my country, last year til Jan this year, highlighten the income part)

+ I put the cover letter only in this file ( Mentioned I have sufficient money to stay and take training in Bangkok, big passion about training and love Thai culture)

2) Current location : passport stamp, ticket to Hanoi, and my air bnb receipt for 4 days in Hanoi)

3) Muay Thai gym document : certification, owner's work permit, owner's passport.

*Once you got the request of further document, please updated asap to make build the trust from Embassy.

*Don't add too many documents, it might make them feel tired to check all the documents. MAKE IT CEAR AND SIMPLE.

Hope this helps you guys!

GOOD luck everyone, you got this :)

Thank You for your helpful report 👍

Congratulations 👏👏👏

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
