How can I get my academic qualifications notarised for a non-immigrant B visa application in Thailand?

I'm applying for a non-immigrant B visa from the UK and I need to provide an 'academic qualification' for my school.

Two of my certificates are slightly different from the name on my passport (one missing my middle name and the other 'Nick' instead of 'Nicholas').

My school has told me that I need to get these documents 'notarised'. Can anyone give more information and suggest a service that might help me do this? What's the going rate? It seems to be about £200 per document - is that right??

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is applying for a non-immigrant B visa from the UK and needs to notarise academic qualifications that have discrepancies with their passport name. They are seeking information about the notarisation process, including recommended services and associated costs, which are quoted around £200 per document.

Contact amanara.co.uk I've used them for preparing documents for Korea and Vietnam. Great service and they'll help to keep costs down. Ask about 'bundling documents' as this is cheaper.

Check with your school first if bundling documents is okay. It should be, but always best to check. Measure twice, cut once 😉 Good luck!

You do not know how to find a notary at home?

Hi

- yes I do, but apparently this needs to also go through the Thai embassy and The Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Anyone got any info on that?
