TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your 30-day tourist visa in Hua Hin, you can visit the local immigration office. Required documents typically include your passport, copies of relevant pages (data page, recent visa, recent stamp, and departure card), a TM30 form, two passport-sized photographs, and a fee of 1,900 THB. It's advisable to check with the Prachuap Khiri Khan immigration office for any specific local requirements. Arriving early at the office can help avoid long queues.
We did ours in samui last week. Arrive early. It opens at 8.30. Paperwork check downstairs then take upstairs to immigration officer and wait. If there early it can be quite quick. If later in day may be big queues

Generally, to get a 30 day extension of stay based on tourism, you need the following documents:
1. Your passport and:
a. a copy of your data ("picture") page
b. a copy of your most recent visa (if you have one)
c. a copy of your most recent stamp
d. a copy of your departure card
2. A TM30, filed in the immigration office.
3. The forms (each immigration office may have different forms, and want to use their special forms)
4. 2x passport pictures
5. 1,900 THB.
Each immigration office can include additional paperwork or documentation. You should contact Prachuap Khiri Khan immigration office (where Hua Hin is located) at

I don't know if their website is up-to-date though.
