How can I determine if my retirement visa is a Non-O or Non-OA in Thailand?

A Non-OA is given abroad. A Non-O is given in Thailand. Is it always the case? How can I be sure?

I got a Non-B visa in 2016 in Phitsanulok. It was converted to a retirement visa in 2018 at CW. It says nowhere if it is a Non-O or a Non-OA. How can I find out which one I have?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is trying to clarify whether their retirement visa, which they obtained in Thailand after initially receiving a Non-B visa, is classified as a Non-O or a Non-OA visa. They mention the differences in application locations for these visas, and comments suggest that Non-OA visas can only be obtained from embassies or consulates abroad, while they are unsure of how to confirm the specific type of visa they currently hold.

If you got it last year, wouldn't you be on an extension rather than a visa?

Yes. Extension of a Non-O or of a Non-OA? It is not specified on the extension.

A non O-A visa can only be bought at a embassy/consulate in your home country.
