Does Thailand immigration accept expired Venezuelan passports for visa purposes?

Hello gents. Im currently on a non b 1 year extension working as a teacher. My passport is venezuelan and i have a little question. My passport will expire on feb 2021 and my country is having alot of problems with the situation there and passport are not being renewed, some european countries are now accepting expired venezuelan passports. Does thailand immigration accept them also? If i go to immigration chiang mai office will the staff be able to answer my question since i know thai english isnt so good?
