I believe you are mistaken There are at least a hundred posts in the various ASQ groups from people saying the test result must say RT-PCR, and that if it says PCR alone, it is rejected. Your statement goes against the hundreds of posts saying otherwise. They specifically need to see the words RT-PCR.
the rapid test is different. Don’t get that my friend got rejected for the flight because he took the wrong test. But the PCR and RT PCR are the same and acceptable

you are not supposed to change the flight closer. You can only postpone it. But I begged the LA consulate. I really mean by begging. His flight got cancel so many times that he was about to give up. Without begging to get it I had no choice. It worked out great

The same day COE. EVA airline canceled his flight on Jan 2nd so he took the last EVA leaving Dec 30th. Changed on Dec30 and left
On Dec 30 so the same day COE

As far as am aware that’s the only test they will accept.
