I'm applying for a non immigrant O visa. I am married to UK national who is on non immigrant B visa. E visa application is asking for PNR number. Does this flight need to be going from the UK to Thailand directly or can I fly in from another country on the way and use that PNR number?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a non-immigrant O visa, you need to provide a PNR number for your flight. The embassy requires evidence that you're in the country from which you're applying, so your flight does not have to be direct to Thailand. You can stop in another country along the way, as long as you can provide a PNR number for the entire journey.

The embassy wants to see a flight from the country you are applying from to Thailand. This is part of how they check that you're actually in the country you're applying at.
