TLDR : Answer Summary
The daughter-in-law must complete the Test and Go requirement upon arrival in Bangkok, specifically if she does not take a sealed flight to Phuket. It is suggested to determine whether her flight from Bangkok to Phuket (WE217) is categorized as a sealed flight or not.

Looks like WE217 is just a domestic flight, Stuart Cumming maybe can confirm.

There are some “sealed routes” operating between Bangkok and Phuket but I’ve not seen a single post from someone who’s actually used one. My suspicion is that these are reserved for tour groups. Can you find out her flight number from Bangkok to Phuket. That will at least give an idea if it’s a sealed flight.

If it’s not they have to do test and go in Bangkok and fly domestically the following day.
