Boyfriend and I fly into Bangkok this week, he has a tourist visa and I have a Non-B. Do we need to have a certain amount of cash per person when we land? If so, how much? Do we exchange USD to Baht at the airport? Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When landing in Bangkok, there are no strict cash requirements enforced for tourists or expats. However, it is generally advised to have a minimum of 10,000 THB or its equivalent in foreign currency per person to cover any unforeseen expenses at immigration. It is possible to exchange USD to Baht at the airport, though the rates may not be the best compared to other exchange locations.
