TLDR : Answer Summary
You do not need to attend a Muay Thai gym for five years to qualify for a DTV visa. A minimum six-month course at an appropriate gym or participation in online seminars related to Thai cultural activities can suffice. It is important to choose a registered gym, as not all Muay Thai gyms fulfill the required conditions for obtaining the visa.

If you genuinely want to learn Muay Thai, yes!

Maybe the Thai government should introduce a contest against a recognised Muay Thai professional, after a period of time, to check you fitness and durability?

I translated it but I don't understand it. Make an appointment with a doctor? Why? It's too mysterious.

I remember the I/O’s used to ask you questions in Thai when you were on an Ed visa learning Thai language, just to see if you knew anything when you went for your extension at CW

Not sure if they will ask you to perform a crocodile kick

No, you do not have to attend for 5 years. Just book at least a 6-month course.

If you can apply through workcation then you do not need to pay for gym membership. If you do the soft power, you have to show you are attending a course. You can apply for Muay thai with some gyms who allow flexible attendance.

Workcation requires income from outside Thailand, right? In the case of Muay Thai, do I need to look for it locally?

Your spouse can apply as a dependent when you get your DTV. You should also check the main DTV group on Facebook
