TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a DTV visa through learning Muay Thai, it's not necessary to attend a Muay Thai gym for five years; a course of at least six months is sufficient. There are also options to participate in online seminars related to Thai cultural activities, which can count towards the visa requirements.

I remember the I/O’s used to ask you questions in Thai when you were on an Ed visa learning Thai language, just to see if you knew anything when you went for your extension at CW

Not sure if they will ask you to perform a crocodile kick

Thank you. I was in trouble because there were so many things I didn't understand. I appreciate your help.

If you can apply through workcation then you do not need to pay for gym membership. If you do the soft power, you have to show you are attending a course. You can apply for Muay thai with some gyms who allow flexible attendance.

Workcation requires income from outside Thailand, right? In the case of Muay Thai, do I need to look for it locally?
Andi ***********
@Kenta *********
yeah, online non-Thai income for workcation. You can find a gym online. MuayThaiFever is well known gym with flexible DTV program. in Chiang Mai. TigerEye Gym in Bangkok

But in the case of soft power, is there no spousal exemption?

@Kenta *********
Your spouse can apply as a dependent when you get your DTV. You should also check the main DTV group on Facebook
