Hello, we are in Vietnam and my husband got his DTV after 5.5 working days. In all we will have been here for two weeks when we leave Monday and mine looks like it's still processing. I have 2 questions:

Should we or can we just come in on visa exempt until mine comes through and then leave again?

If it comes through when we land in Thailand, is it enough to be shown on a phone?

We signed my husband up to get fit at a combat ('Muay Thai') school. It's a legitimate paid for course.

Yes and yes. By we, do you mean I? Check the particular embassy website to make sure they don't have any restrictions on staying in Vietnam once you apply. Have they asked or have you supplied copies of all your passport pages already?

Yes, we've done the passport stamp page, the money and last time we looked we were in the final stage, 'Processing, pending approval' which was the final stage before my husband got the primary DTV and then applied for me. They seem to have a process where they prefer you to give them one document at a time. They did it with my husband. I think it will come through on Monday.

it will likely come through on the day they provide for processing time starting from when you last supplied information. So if they have a 5 working day processing time and you last supplied information on Thursday you will likely receive it next Thursday assuming there are no holidays
