Do I need to send my ACRO document somewhere after receiving it for my visa application in London?

I’ve seen a few people mention that once the acro has been received the document needs to be sent elsewhere for further processing.

Could anyone who has applied via London confirm whether this is the case? If so, I’d be really grateful if you could explain where it needs to be sent and what the next steps are.
