May I know if house registration doc for opening bank account must be the one for the place that I actually live in?

because my landlord said he doesn’t have house registration doc for my place, but he gives me the one for his home cuz his name is in the doc. Does it work?

TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, to open a bank account, it is typically required that the house registration document (where you live) corresponds with your rental agreement or lease. If the landlord does not provide a house registration document for your actual residence but instead gives you one for his own home, this might not be acceptable for the bank. It's advisable to ensure that the documentation aligns with your current living situation to avoid issues during the account opening process.

is "your landlord" truly the actual landlord if he doesn't have documentation with his name and same address as where you are renting/leasing/staying at now??

Sounds a bit off, all properties in Thailand have a blue book

If the bank will let you open an account and is asking for docs from where you live it needs to be there.
