Hi Sir,

I’m still in Bangkok with a TR visa and would like to apply for another COVID extension. (I’ve already extended twice..)

But the website meant for making appointment is not available now. Showing 404 error.

Questions:

1)Do I still need to make an appointment before going down? Or can I just go down without an appointment on Monday?

2)Will they extend another 60 days or down to 30 days? I have a residency certificate here.

3) Do I need to show that I have enough funds in my local bank account or in my wallet?

Thank you! πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ˜Š

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the process for applying for an additional COVID extension on their TR visa in Bangkok, facing issues with appointment scheduling due to a website error. Key questions include whether an appointment is necessary, the duration of the extension, and requirements regarding proof of funds. Responses indicate that no appointment is required for applications with three days or less remaining on the current stamp, extensions are likely for 60 days, and proof of sufficient funds is not needed.

No you do not. However, remember that there can only be three days or less remaining on on your existing stamp

They will extend it by 60 days. They *MAY* give an under consideration stamp (but I doubt it).

>3) Do I need to show that I have enough funds in my local bank account or in my wallet?

No.

pertaining to point #1 - I'm stamped in until 15 August on 45d visa exempt which lands on a Sunday. Would the 3 days include non working days of Saturday & Sunday? Currently I understand that I'd have to extend on Friday.

This is why we have a rule in the group saying that people should make their own posts unless their situation is exactly the same. You did not enter on a tourist visa; you entered on a visa exempt.

You will use Muang Thon Thani, Counter K. You can get an extension of stay when you have 45 days or less remaining on your current stamp. However, they only see 300 people each day.
