Did they ask you for proof of insurance?

This is why I hate google. My wife googles info for me and so many articles say ALL people entering Thailand require insurance. It's getting tiresome with all of this conflicting information. And the embassy sites are not specific either.

it doesn't help that Thailand announced insurance would be required for some people a couple of weeks ago then changed their minds 2 days later
