I have a question for Americans who recently entered Thailand with a Tourist Visa (TR).
Did they ask you for proof of insurance?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Currently, there is no requirement for tourists entering Thailand on a Tourist Visa (TR) to provide proof of insurance, as confirmed by multiple respondents.
This is why I hate google. My wife googles info for me and so many articles say ALL people entering Thailand require insurance. It's getting tiresome with all of this conflicting information. And the embassy sites are not specific either.
