They only allow you to choose an international airport for the Myanmar E-visa now. Did this just change? I guess this means it may not work for the Tachileik border entry point?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The entry points for the Myanmar E-Visa have changed, and Tachileik is no longer an option. Travelers wishing to enter through this border need to obtain a visa from a Burmese consulate in Thailand instead.

yep, appears that they deleted Tachiliek as an entry point for an Evisa.

That means you wanna bounce there you GO to a burmese consulate here in thialand and BUY a visa before

You are a good man for admitting that! Yeah no one really knows. It's maddening. It would be easiest to border bounce at Nong Khai / Vientiane for me.

I don't Tod. I only have 1 by air. So you think it's a big risk spending more time in Laos trying to get a visa? Maybe get trapped in Laos :/

I wasn't able to make it there today

. But I did get a visa from the Lao embassy. So planning to go to the border tomorrow. Still debating on whether to just bounce for a border run in and out as apposed to trying to get a visa at the consulate. Do you know if you can come into Laos and go back to the Thai side immediately or do you need to spend more time in Laos?
