Does anyone know if Myanmar will still accept border runs at Mae Sae if they have an approved e-visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Questions have arisen regarding the acceptance of border runs at Mae Sae for travelers holding an approved e-visa for Myanmar. Comments indicate that while there might be recommendations to use the e-visa at the designated entry points, recent experiences suggest that border access at Mae Sai is currently closed, and travelers are being turned away regardless of having an e-visa.

Mae Sai is CLOSED, even if you bought an evisa yesterday when you could pick mae sai as an entry point you were turned away at the border today.

Some people have commented that they no longer accept e-visa or visa on land border.
Multiple people who have actually gone to the border are reporting this, across multiple groups. This is good information. Things are changing quickly, now is not the time to deny it is happening unless you see an official government statement.

Taylor Cantril Talking to the Thai officer now. Only Border Pass holders can cross (foreigners cannot apply), no eVisas, no visas.

It seems there is some text on this E-Visa, about strongly recommended to use at the place you applied for. if you use in other places it might delay the process.
