Can you enter Thailand on a one-way ticket with visa exemption?
Can u enter Thailand on a one way ticket with visa exemption?
Answer summary
No, you cannot enter Thailand on a one-way ticket if you are using a visa exemption. Airlines generally require passengers to have a return ticket before allowing them to board. It's advisable to book a refundable return ticket in case plans change.

Short answer = No. In all probability, the airline won't even let you board.

You need a return ticket. Book a refundable return ticket and cancel it if you need to.

Does the return need to be within the exemption period or could we book it for the 30 days after - assuming we get the extension?
