TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster inquired about using rental income from two apartments in their home country to qualify for the DTV visa in Thailand, or whether they should pursue a soft power approach. A comment suggested that if the poster actively manages the apartments without an agent, this income might be applicable under the workation category.

If you actively manage the apartments yourself and don't use an agent or service to do that you can use them to apply under workation
