I am a US citizen looking into Visa.

For the Visa's that require a certain amount of Baht or Dollars in a bank account, am I able to use the amount in my 401K as long as it is still there when it comes time to apply?

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The financial requirements for certain Thai visas stipulate that the funds must be in a savings-type bank account, meaning that a 401K is not acceptable for meeting these financial thresholds.
