I have a retirement visa which i renewed in January.
I have ensured that I deposit at least 65,000bt from my UK bank to my Thai bank every month.
Can I use this when I renew next January instead of the 800,000bt?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about using monthly transfers of 65,000 baht from their UK bank to a Thai bank account for the renewal of a retirement visa, instead of the usual 800,000 baht requirement. Responses indicate that if the user has maintained consistent international transfers of at least 65,000 baht for twelve months and adheres to their current visa extension terms, it may be acceptable. However, ensuring the regulations are followed, maintaining sufficient funds, and providing the right documentation are critical for successful renewal.

So did you maintain 800k for three months after your January extension and do you have at least 400k now to maintain for the rest of this extension? Are you sure that your monthly 65k deposits show as international transfers and there is/will be one every calendar month up to your next application totalling at least 12? You need to answer yes to all of these to switch.
Yes the 800k is still in my account since October 2024. I had a marriage visa but my wife died two years ago. I'm sure it shows as international, I transfer using Wise. And yes to ensuring it is more than 65k every month.
You cannot renew a retirement visa. It expires at the end of its term. I suspect that prior to your visa expiring that you obtained an Extension of Stay based on being over 50 years of age. That is not a retirement visa.
Yes but make sure you keep to the terms of your current extension (not dropping below 400k) and personally if it was me, I would also make sure the 800k is there before you get the extension just incase something is wrong or something goes wrong.
Yes if you have 12 months of international transfers of at least 65,000 baht to your account.
The transfers do need to be shown as international transfers so using a service like Wise may be problematic as some deposits may be marked as a local transfer.
