TLDR : Answer Summary
The main inquiry is whether Wise accounts are accepted as alternative banking statements for procedures in Taipei or Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC). One comment suggests there may be confusion as to whether Wise qualifies as a bank, highlighting that while it operates as a money transfer service, one can hold funds in a Wise account.

Isn't Wise a bank account? I know it's a transfer service but you can if you wish have money in the account for any length of time

You can hold balances and get paid interest but technically they use many banks around the world.

Anonymous participant well I have a Wise account and that gives me a UK account number with a sort code and a debit card if I want it. So it's a bank as far as I can see. And as you say they also pay interest. So it's pretty much a bank
