TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about returning to Thailand for 30 days in April after a 5-week stay from January to February. Responses suggest varying opinions based on personal experiences with immigration, stressing that rules may depend on individual circumstances, previous travel history, and nationality. Recommendations include checking directly with the Thai embassy and considering obtaining a visa for safer entry.
Lee Harris depends how often he stays. Over the last 12 months I've entered about 10 times, probably accumulated a max of 40 days over those trips. Clear and obvious pattern that I'm not trying to live in Thailand on visa exemptions.
The fact you are asking, tells you what you already know. Nobody can tell you. One person may say visa exempt, 60 days, is ok three times a year, and this WAS the case. The fact that you stayed 5 weeks and then come again in april, might not be an issue. Some in immigration may view it differently… take the risk? Why not just buy a visa?
