Hello friends. Preparing to use my DTV and spend significant time in Thailand. My team works west coast U.S.A. hours, so I'd be working 9pm - 6am on weekdays. Is it possible to still enjoy a good quality of life in Thailand as basically a graveyard shift worker? Any insights are appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the feasibility of living in Thailand while working graveyard shifts aligned with West Coast U.S. hours. Community members share their experiences, highlighting that despite the challenges of night shift work, it is possible to maintain a decent quality of life by adjusting daily routines and making time for activities during the afternoon and weekends. Some advise structuring work and leisure effectively to enjoy Thai culture, while others express concerns about potential fatigue and social life limitations.
I am on the same schedule. But, I trade for a living so I have more flexibility. So I work from 8-10:30. Go out and have some fun. Return and work 1-3. Sleep around 4ish to 12. Wake up, workout, do my stuff. Go back to sleep and wake up around 6pm and refreshed up.
Been doing it for over 3 years . Its 10am in Thailand im wide awake. Your body is forced fo adjust.. on the weekends I force myself to get up early so I can enjoy life like a normal person... in the beginning it sucked lol
You have plenty of time to do whatever you want during the afternoon. If you sleep shortly after you finish working you can go out from 2-9pm or something like that.
I got my work to let my adjust my hours a bit so I was working from 6pm-2am (6am-2pm central time) and I didn't find any problems. Especially if you can get normal weekends, though you'll never be able to go out Friday night if that's the case.
