Can I renew my Thai driving license with a DTV visa instead of a non-immigrant visa?
Little bit specific question for people here with Thai driving license who switched from working Visa to DTV.
I did my Thai driving license few years back with non-immigrant B VISA.
My Thai driving license now reach the expired date. I’m preparing to go renew and on list of document it shows “passport with non-immigrant Visa”. But I am now under DTV visa.
From my understanding, DTV is not a “non immigrant” Visa.
Does anyone here already renew Thai driving license with DTV ? Or even make it in the first place

No problem whatsoever extending the DL with a DTV. Only thing that used to be applied inconsistently (typical Thai) is whether a DTV allows for a full 5 year DL or only a temporary 2 year. In Chiang Mai it was full 5 year extension recently.

I just renewed my DL last week. I'm on a DTV. This time I got 5 years. Actually 5.5 years because they made it expire on my birthday, which is the end of December 😊

I'm just sitting at the doctor for the medical certificate. Visa shouldn't be an issue. Driver license have nothing to do with your visa situation. I got my driver license on STV. Got last year business visa with work permit and now DTV. Don't forget to watch the 1 hour videos and the certificate of residence. (Took me 1 week to receive it from immigration)

It doesnt matter...you can renew your driving license.Non Im visa..you will get 5 year extension...DTV + another turist type visa extension is 2 year. If I remember right...
