A valid driving licence, an International Driving Permit from your home country, a Residence Certificate from. Immigration and a Medical Certificate from a clinic.
David Rogers if you don't have a long term visa ( like non o, dtv isn't ) you will only receive the "temporary" Thai license of 2 years which you can extend every 2 years again
David Rogers 1968 Vienna Convention: Valid for up to 3 years and accepted in over 80 countries, mostly across Europe but includes Thailand irrespective there will be the usual comments it’s only valid for 3 months. Valid for 3 years or untill the expiry of your home country’s licence or whatever comes first.
James Reid Patrick you missed the point. Nobody asked, how long your IDP is valid. Thai Cops do accept them usually only for temporary stays, up to 3 month.
James Reid Patrick If your home country licence is in English you don't need an IDP, but good luck telling the cops that. Also, insurance companies will only insure you for 90 days using a foreign licence, and will insist on seeing your IDP if you make a claim.
This has been mentioned before but no one could provide a link from the Thai Government or the Dept. of Land Transport to verify it was only valid for 3 months.
Residence certificate from immigration, medical certificate from a clinic, passport, copies of biodata page and visa/extension of stay page. QR code showing you've watched the video and answered the questions although you can do that onsite
you'll need to make sure they are happy to register your stay on the TM30 system and supply you with the receipt. If they will do that you should be OK
