Can I leave Vietnam while waiting for my DTV visa application result?
Hello, if you’ve successfully submitted your application of DTV in Vietnam thru e-visa, can you leave the country while waiting for the result? Will they detect that you left the country? Thank you for any information.
Answer summary
The consensus among commenters is that it is advisable to remain in Vietnam while waiting for the DTV visa application result. Leaving the country might lead to complications, such as potential requests for additional documentation or a personal interview with the embassy. Staying put until a decision is made is recommended.

What are you going to do if they ask you for added documents or even personal interview with the Thai Embassy or Consulate?
Stay in Vietnam UNTIL they have acted on your DTV visa application.
