Can I get an extension for submitting additional documents for my Thai visa application?
Anyone successfully got additional time to submit the additional documents requested beyond 14 days?
I have applied on 25th August and now they are asking criminal clearance report and the minimum time in my country to get a report is 30 days.
If i submit a letter explaining situation + my report submission request would that work
Appreciate any help, I don't want to re apply again paying the fee twice

I was asked to provide a legalised marriage certificate, which in my case could only be obtained in my home country. The whole process took around 4-5 weeks.
I submitted a cover letter explaining the situation and requested additional time to provide the document. They granted me an extension, and I was able to submit the requested certificate about five weeks later.

Certainly can't hurt to ask and make them aware of your time obstacle. You don't really have any alternatives.
