Is it possible to get a visa extension at BKK airport as soon as you arrive?

UK passport holder. Came to Thailand November last year and extended then in Chiang Mai (that was my first time visiting).

TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK passport holder inquiring about getting a visa extension upon arrival at Bangkok Airport is informed that extensions cannot be processed there. Instead, they need to visit an Immigration Office for any visa-related queries.

No, you need to visit an Immigration Office. Why did you not apply for a visa that fits your length of stay?

Knowing that you only get a 30 day Visa Exempt Entry, you can visit any office mentioned when you want during your stay.

There is an office in Phuket town, Phuket patong beach, Phang Nga, Krabi, Trang, Had Yai and Satun.

but thanks! Is there a list of immigration offices somewhere? I’m mostly going to be in the islands near Krabi - is there an office there?

Just need to check whether it would be better to go to the office in BKK before heading down to the islands 🌴
