TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are currently enrolled in classes, you should be able to extend your education visa by providing the necessary paperwork from your school to immigration. The extension is typically for an additional 90 days.

If you have been attending classes the school should supply the paperwork you require to get an extension, which would be for 90 days

ok, thank you. I think I read somewhere that you can get a month extension on any visa but wasn’t sure how true it was.

no such thing exists. There's not some generic month extension anyone can get on any visa.
