Changing from volunteer visa to Non B visa, it has to be done outside the country or it is possible to change within Country but depends on the company?
Would be much appreciated if you could share experiences.
Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The process of changing from a volunteer visa to a Non-B visa generally requires leaving Thailand. However, in certain situations, it might be possible to switch within the country. One suggested method involves canceling the current 90-day stamp and applying for a 60-day COVID extension, followed by applying for a Non-B visa with employer documentation at the immigration office.
The ONLY way it could be done inside the country (especially seeing as you're still on the 90 day stmap you got from the Non-O visa) would be for you to take a paper from your foundation GO to immigrations cancel the current 90 day stamp you're on and immediately apply for a 60 day covid extension.
THEN once you get the 60 day covid extension you could apply inside the country at the immigration office for a 90 day Non-B visa with documentation from your employer.
That's the ONLY way it could be done because you can't switch visa types from one to another inside the country, so canceling the one you're on, getting a covid extension would 'break the link' back to the Non-O visa and let you apply for a Non-B in country
thanks! I am aware of that too. Really appreciate for the reminder ๐๐. On the different note, (ask on behalf of my friend), for those who got 60 day covid extension, would it be possible to apply for ED visa (to seriously learn Thai) within the country?
You *MAY* be able to get it done inside the country, however that's between you, the employer, and the immigration office. If you're volunteering at a real volunteer organization (sounds like you are), there is a chance.
